Holiday Arrests Listed

Police have compiled statistics on their increased enforcement work during the long July 4 holiday weekend.

During the period from June 30 through July 4, police arrested two motorists for driving while intoxicated. They issued 19 tickets and 38 warnings for seat belt violations.

They also issued 10 tickets and 17 warnings for various other motor vehicle violations.

The 13 officers who participated in the enforcement program logged 108 hours of overtime.
