On Romanian Medical Trip

WATERBURY — The Phyllis Tremaglio ‘64 Lecture Series at St Margaret’s-McTernan School will present a special exhibition and lecture called “Down the Hall: Sight,” on Thursday, April 22.

The photographs document a 2003 medical expedition to Romania by Lincoln Hale Turner, Dr Edward Pulice, MD, and other volunteer ophthalmologists who traveled under the auspices of Surgical Eye Expeditions (SEE) International.

Viewing will begin at 6:30. Dr Pulice will offer a lecture at 7 pm.

The exhibition and lecture will take place in the school’s recital hall at 565 Chase Parkway, off I-84 Exit 18 in Waterbury.

Mr Turner accompanied the group of doctors on their trip last year, documenting their medical aid efforts through his photographs.
