Top Students Recognized For Excellence

The John Hopkins University Center for Talented Youth recently announced top academic award winners in Connecticut. The following local students were among 680 students in the state to receive the honor distinguishing them as some of the brightest academically gifted youth in the country.

Abhinav Tyagarajan from Reed Intermediate School received a State Level Award for High Honors.

Tanner Janesky of Fraser Woods School, David Tortora of St Rose of Lima School, and Drew Robinson of Reed Intermediate School received State Level Awards for High Honors Plus. The students listed were recognized for scoring in the top 35 percent in Connecticut.
