Artifact ID Day
WASHINGTON â For anyone who has ever found an artifact and wondered about its use, how it was made or its age, The Institute for American Indian Studies will host an Artifact ID Day on Saturday, February 25. Dr Lucianne Lavin, IAIS director of research and collections, invites the public to bring in artifacts from their personal collection for identification and discussion. Dr Lavin will be at the museum from 1 to 3 pm that afternoon. The museum, at 38 Curtis Road, can be reached at 860-868-0518 for additional information.
