Youth Programs

Sibshops will meet on Monday, January 22, from 5 to 6 pm. This group is for children in grades one through six who have a brother or sister with special needs.

Children of Divorce will meet on Monday, January 22, from 6 to 7. This group is for students in grades one through six.

Both of the above groups meet at Newtown Youth Services.

HSYAB will meet on Monday, January 22, at 2 pm, in the high school cafeteria. Agenda items will be projects for the remainder of the year and also charity fundraisers.

Groups For Moms

Moms of Infants — For ages birth to one year will meet on Tuesdays or Thursdays from 10:30 to 11:30 am. If you are interested, call Newtown Youth Services at 270-4335.

Gym Time is held on Wednesdays from 9:30 to 11:30 am, and is for preschool children. The fee is $30 and the group meets at the Edmond Town Hall Gym.

Support Groups

Grandparents’ Group — The Second Time Around: Raising Your Children’s Children is an ongoing support program that meets on Wednesdays from noon to 1:30 pm. There is no fee.

Hope and Support will next meet on Monday, January 22, from 7:30 to 9:30 pm. Parents or caregivers with questions or concerns about a child’s possible or confirmed substance use or abuse are welcome to attend this group. The Hope Group will not meet on school holidays, school breaks, or on snow days.
