Correction

A painting that failed to meet reserve was inadvertently reported as sold in our coverage of Cyr Auction Company’s Americana sale from October 10.

The article, which appeared in last week’s issue of Antiques and The Arts Weekly, November 2, stated that the Johann Berthelsen oil on canvas titled “New York City in Winter” sold at $11,500. The painting was not sold, according to the auction gallery.
