‘Unity & Diversity’ Programs Preview

Unity and Diversity, a cable television program that features leaders and representatives of various religious communities in our area, can be seen on Charter Communications channel 21 on Mondays at noon and Wednesdays at 5:30 pm.

Programs for the coming weeks will featuring the following guests or topics: August 11 and 13, Kevin’s Community Center of Newtown, with founder and director Dr Michael Taweh; August 18 and 20, Shelter of the Cross, with Karen Messina, former executive director; and August 25 and 27, “A New Look at Mary Magdalene,” with Sister Bridget Mary Meehan.

Next month’s features will begin with “A Look At Women’s Ordination in the Roman Catholic Church” on September 1 and 3, and “A Look at Pope Benedict XVI,” September 8 and 10.
