Post Universityâs Equine Resources Committee will host a lecture with David Gaudio, R.Ph. of RX Specialties of Cheshire on Friday, October 24, at 7:15 pm in the Drubner Center, Room 201 at Post University, Waterbury.Â
If you own a horse or another pet who takes medication, you know how expensive it can be. Gaudio will discuss the value of compounding prescriptions as a cost- and time-saving tool. Compounding medications have become a powerful and widely utilized resource for veterinarians and pet owners all over the country.Â
Prescription Specialties, rxspecialties.com, opened in 1992. One of the first compounding-only pharmacies in the US, it has evolved into a mainly veterinary practice, serving the needs of equine, small animals and exotic animals around the country.Â
Cost for the lecture is $10. All proceeds benefit the equine scholarships at Post University. For information and directions, call 203-596-4631 or email CBaker@post.edu.
