A Call For Better Recycling

To the Editor:

I am a person who would like to help the environment by recycling in our town, and I want you to help too.

You can pick up cans and bottles in the town parks and recycle them, but is there a place to recycle them?

We can raise money to buy recycling buckets to put in our town parks, schools, and library. Many bottles and cans that this town uses end up at the dump or in rivers and streams. The plastic and metal just sits there for years and years. The rivers and streams are affected by all this unrecycled garbage. This pollution travels in the streams to the oceans which we swim in. This causes not to help the environment but to destroy it and harm wild life that lives in it.

As a concerned citizen of the world, I would like you to recycle better in our community.
