First Chamber Pot Luck Event June 16

Angelo and Renia Marini, owners of Sal e Pepe Restaurant will be opening up their home to host a pot luck dinner for Newtown Chamber of Commerce members and their guests Tuesday, June 16, from 5:30 to 7:30 pm, at 45 Mt Nebo Road in Newtown.

The Marinis will be working together on a spread with meat connoisseur Steve Ford or Steve the Butcher of the Butcher’s Best Market, soon to be located inside the Newtown Deli. Mr Ford will be roasting a pig as the main entrée to go with the side dishes, desserts, wine and beer that chamber members are asked to bring.

A special drink surprise creation courtesy of Angelo Marini will also be served.

This marks a new type of event for the chamber; members will be able to enjoy networking in this casual and relaxing environment with a swim in the pool and summer games set up in the yard.
