Griffin Hospital Hosting Weekly Farmers’ Market

DERBY — This summer Griffin Hospital’s employees, physicians, and volunteers — as well as its patients and visitors — have again been able to enjoy the freshness and convenience of buying locally grown produce right at the hospital’s front door.

The farmers’ market also provides an opportunity to support the local economy, with a local farm, Aspetuck Valley Apple Barn of Easton, and other local vendors providing a wide variety of produce.

Everyone is invited to enjoy the market, held every Friday from 1 to 4 pm in the portico just outside of the hospital’s main entrance.
