Boston Terrier Club Show
Boston Terrier Club Show
The Boston Terrier Club of Connecticut will put on its annual two-day dog show at the Crowne Plaza, 1284 Strongtown Road, Southbury on Saturday and Sunday, March 19 and 20. Admission is free. Judging runs from 11 am to approximately 3 pm both days.
This is an American Kennel Club-sanctioned conformation event in which dogs earn points toward their championship and grand championship. The best dogs then compete for Best In Show. Dogs must be preregistered to compete. Although dogs will not be sold at the event, this is an opportunity to speak with people who love the breed.
At 12:30 pm on Saturday, a Parade of Rescued Dogs will be held. On Sunday, at 2:30 pm, will be the Parade of Champions.
Vendors will be on hand, offering a wide array of dog-related items. There will be a silent auction and tea cup auction.
