Mosaic Flower Pots Blossom At C.H. Booth Library
The C.H. Booth Library hosted a special Make a Mosaic Flower Pot class for children and adults on May 14, in the Meeting Room. For more information about upcoming events at the C.H. Booth Library, visit chboothlibrary.org.
Instructor Katie Stevenson brought a colorful collection of small tiles, pottery, glass marbles and gems, pebbles, and shells for participants to choose from to create their mosaic design.
Everyone received a helping of grout - in their color preference of white or alabaster - to coat on the outside of their six-inch clay flower pot. Once the grout was evenly layered, Ms Stevenson encouraged each artist to follow their own creativity when placing pieces.
At the end of class, all participants were able to take home their custom-made mosaic flower pot and use it indoors.
