WALKER INDUSTRIAL 19, ADVANTAGE LOAN 7: Lindsey Chimileski powered the offense and Stephanie Nordstrom pitched well to lead Walker Industrial to the win. For Advantage, Lauren Reed was 2-for-2 and pitched two strong innings. Becky Luceris slugged a triple, drove in three runs, and sparkled on defense behind the plate.
LEXINGTON GARDENS 13, JP MAGUIRE ASSOCIATES 12: Lauren Grimaldi scored the winning run in the bottom of the seventh inning to lift Lexington Gardens past JP Maguire. Heather Tracey, Gina Bloshuk and Corrine Yllanes all had good days at the plate while Katie Bolmer was solid in the field. For JP Maguire, Christie Caruso had three hits â including a homer â while Jackie Ercole also hit the ball hard. Sonjar Taylor and Danielle Iodice made some great plays in the field.
McCHORD ENGINEERING 17, PEDIATRIC HEALTH CARE 16: Christina Wolf had four hits (including a double), four stolen bases, and drove in four runs to lead McChord Engineering to the win. Corey Stokes, Sam Bucholz and Kate Fielding also sparked the offense while Angela Browning played well in the field. For Pediatric, Caitlin Williams and Sam Friedman played well all around while Grace Hubina pitched a good game.
PEDIATRIC HEALTH CARE 17, JP MAGUIRE 13: Candice Harrington and Stephanie Greenfield had three hits apiece to pace Pediatric Health care to the win. Jillian Blomberg and Shannon Petrasanta had fine all-around games. Emily Nezvesky pitched well. For JP, Christie Caruso and Lisa Grossman hit the ball well while Sonja Taylor, Kristen Rockwell and Jackie Ercole all played well in the field.

EXECUTIVE LANDSCAPING 16, NEWTOWN HARDWARE 15: Amanda Sharpe had four hits, including one that drove in Angela Viesto with the winning run in the bottom of the last inning, to lift Executive Landscaping past Newtown Hardware. Jaime Marcucilli was 4-for-4, Viesto had three hits (including two doubles), and Desiree Rosato had four hits (including a home run). For Hardware, Stephanie Manning and Katie Midlik belted home runs, Sally Tabler tripled, and Kelsey Cantore played solid defense.
NEWTOWN INSURANCE 15, TAUNTON PRESS 11: Sarah Greenfield was 4-for-4 and scored three runs while Claire Berlioux and Erin Ruddock collected three hits apiece to lead Newtown Insurance to the win. Melissa Shepard scored twice and played well in the field. For Taunton Press, Celeste Villafano scored three runs, Katie Rose Crevier pitched well, and Ellen Binio anchored the D.
NEWTOWN INSURANCE 10, EXECUTIVE LANDSCAPING 8: Nicki Beatty cracked a pair of doubles and Claire Berlioux scored three runs to lead Newtown Insurance to the win. Michelle Brennan and Catrina Morgan were solid behind the plate while Melissa Shepard was excellent in the field, Alana Winick picked up the win in relief. For Executive, Desiree Rosato belted a grand slam and scored two runs to fuel the offense. Lauren Imperioli scored a pair of runs while Danielle LaFrancesca played well in the field and Bailey Saltzman pitched a solid game.
NEWTOWN INSURANCE 13, DR BECK 7: Erin Ruddock, Nichole Beatty and Alana Winick all went 3-for-3 (with Winick scoring three runs) to lead Newtown Insurance to another win. Katie Ebert pitched two strong innings. For Dr Beck, Caitlin Smiley was 4-for-4, Courtney Sullivan had a strong day at the plate, and Alex Donigan played super defense.
DR STEVE LANDIN 17, BROOKFIELD 16: Ashley Gabor singled in the bottom of the sixth, driving in Lisa Alberico with the winning run to lift Dr Landin over Brookfield. Alberico finished with four hits and four runs scored. Julie Landin, Mariale Renna, Meredith Palo and Lindsey Greene all had good performances.
SOUTHBURY HEAT SEEKERS 11, THE QUIET COMPANY 10: Valerie Nezvesky went 4-for-4 and scored three times to lead The Quiet Company. Maggie DeMarco pitched three strong innings while Kyla Miles was terrific behind the plate.
THE QUIET COMPANY 18, DR STEVE LANDIN 16: Sara Peters went 4-for-5 with a double and four runs scored to lead The Quiet Company. Amanda Chontos belted a grand slam home run to also spark the offense. Jenna Van Waalwijk pitched two strong innings, allowing just one hit. For Dr Landin, Lisa Alverico and Meredith Palo each banged out three hits and combined to score five runs. Ali Legros and Tory Marlin both pitched solid games.

AIRE SERVE HEATING & AC 13, BOB TENDLER REAL ESTATE 4: Cathy Urfer had a solid game on the mound and in the field while Jillian Lemma had a nice game in the field to lead Aire Serve to the win. For Bob Tendler, hits came from Michelle OâRourke, Nicki Haylon and Carly Doherty. Rachel Martin made a nice defensive play.
MY PLACE 8, CHUBBYâS DELI 3: Jenna Legros and Taylor Ansbro both went 2-for-2 to lead My Place to the win. Renata Villareal doubled as Rebecca Read and Sam Ross starred on defense. For Chubbyâs, Chelsea Fay and Meghan Sajovich had a nice game at the plate.
MY PLACE 14, DRUG CENTER 12: Renata Villareal went 3-for-4 with a single, double and home run to lead My Place to the win. Ann Hull, Danielle Petrella, Sam Ross and Rebecca Read all had good games. For Drug Center, Megan Dolyak and Melissa Fracker banged out three hits apiece. Kelly Lindell played well in the field.
MY PLACE 8, BOB TENDLER REAL ESTATE 7: Sam Ross and Jenna Legros had two hits apiece as My Place nipped Bob Tendler. Ann Hull, Renata Villareal, Stephanie Villa and Taylor Truchess all performed nicely. For Tendler, Kate Bowen whacked a grand slam homer as Erin Fish and Ally Modzelewski had hits.
RICCIâS SALON 12, DRUG CENTER 9: Clutch hitting by Danielle Silk sparked a five-run, fifth inning to lead Ricciâs to the win. Marleigh Sullivan hit the ball hard while Katie Serock and Jaclyn Van Waalwijk played well in the field. For Drug Center, Joanna Barry had a hit, Jenny Samson sparked the defense, and Melissa Fracker pitched well.
KOSCHEL BUS (#16) 11, CHUBBYâS DELI (11): Marley Koschel and Meg Barbour each had a double and two singles to lead Koschel Bus #16. Stacy Broughton pitched a solid game. For Chubbyâs, Meredith Coffey scored a pair of runs while Megan Sajovic homered and pitched three scoreless innings.
BOB TENDLER REAL ESTATE 17, KOSCHEL BUS (#16) 14: Kelley Tenney had three hits â including a home run â to lead Bob Tendler to the win. Nicki Haylon, Rachel Marin and Allison Modzlewski (four runs scored) also powered the offense. Maxx Zimmer was solid in the field. Tina Sanchez homered, singled twice, and drove in three runs to lead Koschel Bus. Sarah Peck doubled, singled twice, and drove in a pair of runs. Chelsea Fowler sparked the defense.

RICCIâS SALON 13, NEWTOWN POLICE UNION 9: Katie Serock belted a pair of home runs to lead Ricciâs Salon to the win. Krystal Perrotti made a great defensive play at second and Renee Solheim â in her first appearance on the mound â pitched two great innings. For the Newtown Police, Jackie Kirol homered, Sarah Edwards pitched four solid innings, and Allison Rambone and Mary Bloshuk both made fine defensive plays.
