SAT Verbal & Math Workshops

WATERBURY — Naugatuck Valley Community College will offer two SAT/PSAT Workshops this summer to help students prepare for the Scholastic Aptitude Test.

SAT Workshop: Verbal will be offered Monday through Thursday, July 30 through August 2, from 9:30 to 11:30 am. SAT Workshop: Math will be offered Monday through Thursday, August 6 through 9, from 9:30 to 11:30 am. Participants of the Math Workshop must have successfully completed one full year of Geometry. Interested participants should register by June 27.

These courses will review test-taking strategies and problem solving techniques for success on the SAT/PSAT. Practice session and instruction guide will be available to give better understanding to the student of the problems that commonly appear on these tests. New test formats will be discussed and new college board materials are included in the cost of the course.
