Sidlowsky defeated Gebert, 4-and-3.
Sidlowsky, who defeated Tim Ignatius (1-up) last summer, had to work hard to reach the final 36 holes. He defeated Dan Murphy 2-up before nipping Joe Masso and Rich Daone 2-and-1 to earn a chance to defend his title.
Gebert reached the finals by defeated Mike Leahy, 5-and-4, in the opening round. Gebert handled Paul Payne and Joe Humeston by identical scores to earn a shot at stopping Sidlowsky from repeating.
Sidlowsky, Masso, Daone, Bob Mattern, Payne, Gebert, Humeston and Rod Watts were all first-round winners in the tournament.
