Which book or movie would you recommend for this summer?

Erik Wilhelmsson: “I really liked Terminator 3. It was better than I expected. It was about as good as Terminator 2!”

Megan Steuer: “Last summer, I read the Cider House Rules by John Irving. Both the book and the movie are really good.”

Marie Walker: “Well, [the C.H. Booth Library] just received the latest Mary Higgins Clark novel, Second Time Around. We also have the newest book in Jan Karon’s Mitford series, In This Mountain, available.”

Alma Kearns: “I really like The Hours, by Michael Cunningham. I’m waiting to finish the book before I see the movie.”

Connie Urso: “I love the Prince of Tides, by Pat Conroy. I didn’t think the movie was as good….Barbra Streisand basically made it into a vehicle for herself. But the novel is wonderful, especially for the summer time.”

Karen Nash: “The Lovely Bones by Alice Sebold is excellent.”
