Warbler Program At Booth Library
Warbler Program At Booth Library
On Thursday, February 23, Lillinonah Audubon Society will sponsor a slide program at C.H. Booth Library.
Dr Phillip Elliott, a biologist from Eastern Connecticut State University, will offer some of the findings from his research on five migrant warblers: the blue-winged warbler, chestnut sided warbler, common yellowthroat, prairie warbler and the yellow warbler. He will discuss their behavioral and population responses to a habitat disturbance that resulted from a high voltage power line right of way.
The program will be at C.H. Booth Library, 25 Main Street.
There will be refreshments at 7:30 and the program will start at 8. Guests should plan to be inside the library by 8 pm because doors cannot be opened from the outside after that time.
There is no fee, and the public is welcome. Call 426-4533 for additional information.
