Men’s League

Newtown Phone Book 65, Total Pool & Spa 46: Dave Bescanson scored 18 points, and Steve Bigham and Rob Merryfield each had 17 to lift Newtown Phone Book. Steve Nowacki added 11 and Coach Rob Frangione added 2 in the victory. Total Pool & Spa was led by Kevin Barrett’s 17 points. Frank Galante had 12 and Phil Kraska scored 11. Tom Birch, Bill Mcnerney and Tom Santella all had 2 points.

Svanda Painting 81, Newtown Mobil 64: Austin Bowes and Matt Miriani both scored 22 points to lead Svanda Paining. Jeff Hadad had 19, and Mark Svanda and Todd Suhar added 10 and 8, respectively, in the win. Newtown Mobil’s Roger Manning led all scorers with 23 points. Pete Ivy had 18, Kenny Oswald added 17 and Rich McCulluch had 6 in the defeat.

Women’s League

Southbury Printing 53, Dr. Baum’s Braces 52: Jennifer Thomas had 24 points and Tracey Pelella had 13 for Southbury Printing. Tory Anderton led Dr. Baum’s with 26.

Alpine Realty 75, ACG Solutions 56: Shelby Rotunda scored 38 points and Kelly Fengler had 24 for Alpine. Joanne Duncanson had 21 for ACG.
