Newtown High School Swim Team Places Sixth In South-West Conference Championships

MONROE— The Newtown High School girls’ swim team placed sixth among 12 conference rivals in the South-West Conference Championships at Masuk High School on November 7.

Pomperaug won the competition with 439 points. Newtown scored 248.50 to edge out host Masuk (242) for sixth. Newtown High School results are as follows:
