*ZAPPA PLAYS ZAPPA will make a second appearance in Connecticut. This tour â Dweezil Zappa & The Zappa Family Trust, presenting the music of Frank Zappa â has been getting great reviews from its onset, and will return just about a year after its first show in Connecticut.
Tickets are going on sale this morning (Friday) at 10 through LiveNation.com and all TicketMaster outlets, priced at $38 and $48. The show will be Thursday, November 1, at the Chevrolet Theatre in Wallingford.
*The final rock concert at Ives Concert Park this season will be tonightâs show by THE BLACK CROWES. Advance tickets are no longer available, but gates will be opening at 5:30 this afternoon and tickets can be purchased there. Lawn tickets will be $31, and reserved seats range from $65 to $81, and there may be a day-of-show surcharge for each of these price levels. Childrenâs lawn seating, I believe, is $14 per child.
