A Petitioning Candidate

To the Editor:

Sadly, I did not get the party nomination for registrar of voters at Republican Town Committee Caucus. In order for the public to make their own choice who will be your Republican registrar, I will have to petition for a primary so the voters can decide who will be on the ballot this November.

I was a deputy registrar for five years and I am currently the registrar of voters, having served for the past 12 years.

I would like to thank all of you for your support. As of this time, I am still collecting signatures on my petition for primary.

If you are a registered Republican and would like to sign the petition, please look for me at the Sandy Hook Firehouse Lobsterfest this Friday from 5 pm to 9 pm and again on Saturday from 4 pm to 8 pm. Signature collecting deadline is June 11. Arrangements to sign the petition can also be made by calling me at my home number at 203-426-6673.
