Volunteers Needed For Breast Cancer Walks

DANBURY — Volunteers are needed for the American Cancer Society’s Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walks in Danbury and Litchfield, Sunday, October 21, to greet walkers, cheer them on, help with registration, parking, logistics, and cleanup.

Making Strides is a noncompetitive five-kilometer walk to raise awareness and funds to fight breast cancer and to provide hope to all people facing the disease

Making Strides Against Breast Cancer in Danbury will be at the Danbury Fair Mall, 7 Backus Avenue

The event starts at 8 am with registration and the walk begins at 8:30.

Making Strides Against Breast Cancer in Litchfield will be at The White Memorial Conservation Center, Route 202. The event starts at 11 am with registration and  the walk begins at 1 pm.
