Where The Voting Is Easy

It doesn’t matter who you voted for but that fact that you voted is important. Newtown does a great job making this easy whether it is for a local budget to a Presidential election. You can always count on getting in and out of the polling place quickly. After hearing many horror stories of voting in other towns and cities around the state and country, I really appreciate how Newtown handles voting.

I have lived in Newtown over 15 years now and cannot remember a time when I have stood in line. You can count on an abundance of people working at the polling places to check people in, hand out ballots and places to prepare your ballot. The minor line to feed your ballot into the machine moved very quickly. I was in and out in less than 15 minutes including parking the car at Reed. I heard similar stories at the other polling places in Newtown too. Great job, Newtown. Keep it up!
