All mediums — including but not limited to acrylic, oil, watercolor, mixed media, pen and ink, charcoal, pastel, etchings, photography and monoprint — will be accepted. Sculpture and three dimensional art will not be accepted.

The gallery will be made into a grid of 12-inch squares. Each piece of artwork, including framing, cannot exceed a 12 by 12-inch square.

Submissions will be accepted November 10-19. The opening reception is scheduled for Saturday, December 1, from 1 to 4 pm, and the collection will remain on view December 1-24.

Note, artists must be at least age 18 and there is a $7 per square space entry fee. Artists are allowed up to five works. FrameWorks will receive a 20 percent commission on each work sold. Artists will also want to note that there are only 130 available spaces, so early submissions are encouraged.

The FrameWorks Gallery (Koenig FrameWorks) is a picture framing and art galley located at 97 Main Street South (Route 25) in Newtown. While its core business is picture framing, FrameWorks maintains an inherent desire and passion to participate in the support, cultivation and promotion of the arts.
