The following workshops have been scheduled by HealingNewtown.

All workshops are free and are being offered at Newtown Congregational Church, 14 West Street, where HealingNewtown recently opened a studio space. Access to the HealingNewtown area is through the lower rear entrance of the church.

*The Joy of Art with Joy Hoffman will be offered Wednesdays through August 28. One hour sessions for kindergarteners will begin at 11 am and 1 pm.

Children are welcome at one or all. They will enjoy a chance to express their artistic talents freely while being guided through friendship bead making bracelets and necklaces, paper plate bugs, and other fun and lively arts and crafts projects.

*Weaving Workshop with Hanna Roehrs will be Mondays in August, each running from noon until 3 pm.

This workshop is for adults. Beginners are welcome.
