Creepy Crawlies And Furry Animals

WOODBURY — Children ages 3-5 are invited to learn about the worlds of the butterfly, lady bug, turtle, grasshopper, bumble bee, woodchuck, panda and chipmunk during “Creepy Crawlies and Furry Animals,” a children’s workshop to be presented at Flanders Nature Center on Wednesday, May 17. Vivian Grehan will widen the eyes and expand the minds of the young participants by sharing her knowledge and love for small creatures through puppets and story telling.

Cost is $5 per child, and reservations are requested. The program will start at 1 pm, and will be at Flanders’ Van Vleck Farm Sanctuary Trail House, at the corner of Flanders and Church Hill Roads. Call 203/263-3711 for details or reservations.
