Martha R. Matzelle

Martha L. (Rockwell) Matzelle, 83, died January 31 at Athol Memorial Hospital, in Massachusetts. She was the wife of the late Joseph Matzelle.

Mrs Matzelle was born in Newtown, December 6, 1917, daughter of the late Stephen and Elizabeth (Carl) Rockwell.

She is survived by two daughters, Rose of Massachusetts and Patricia of Florida; one brother, Halcyon of Massachusetts; three sisters, Mary of Florida, Vivian of New York, and Vera of Scotland; three grandchildren, Otto of Massachusetts and Abra and Neill of California; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, because Mrs Matzelle did not believe in ceremonies, it was her wish that people would be kind and generous to the people around them.

Arrangements were entrusted to the American Cremation Society, Inc.
