Cendant Recognized

 By CIO Magazine

DANBURY — The Cendant Real Estate Franchise Group, parent company of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage of Connecticut/Westchester, N.Y., has received a 2005 CIO 100 award, given by IDG’s CIO magazine. The annual award program recognizes organizations around the world that exemplify the highest level of operational and strategic excellence in information technology (IT).

Cendant was recognized for its innovative LeadRouter lead management system, which converts Internet-generated consumer inquiries into voice calls that are delivered to sales associates’ cell phones, allowing sales associates to immediately respond to consumers. According to a 2004 Realtor.com survey, nearly 50 percent of online inquiries from homebuyers and sellers go unanswered after 48 hours.

This year’s CIO 100 award theme is the Bold 100, which recognizes those executives and organizations who embrace risk and play not just to survive, but to win.

“In an industry that rewards timeliness, quick responses can be the key to securing new business,” said Peggy Doepper, president and chief operating officer of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage in Connecticut/Westchester, N.Y. “LeadRouter helps us to serve clients faster and better.”

The Cendant Real Estate Franchise Group launched its proprietary LeadRouter lead management system in December 2004 for the benefit of the brokers and sales associates within its real estate brand families. Cendant has a business methods patent pending for LeadRouter with the US Patent and Trademark Office.

Cendant’s LeadRouter system was also recently recognized as the “Most Innovative Technology” at the annual Inman Innovator Awards, presented July 27 by Inman News at the Real Estate Connect Conference in San Francisco. Cendant’s LeadRouter shared the Inman Innovator award with Google Earth.

Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage’s corporate offices in Connecticut/Westchester County, are located at 51-53 Kenosia Avenue, Danbury. Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage in Connecticut/Westchester maintains more than 2,000 sales associates in more than 50 locations across Connecticut and Westchester County.
