Alcohol Sales Compliance Checks
Find No Violations
A recent series of alcohol sales compliance checks found that none of the ten retail businesses in town that sell beer sold any alcohol to underage undercover agents seeking to buy alcohol, according to a statement from the state Department of Consumer Protection (DCP).
On Saturday, July 23, from noon to 4 pm, DCP agents and town police officers conducted the alcohol sales compliance checks at all ten local package stores and grocery stores that sell beer, according to DCP.
âWe are pleased to announce that all ten establishments passed, as they did not sell alcoholic beverages to the volunteer youth provided by the Governorâs Prevention Partnership,â DCP said.Â
