Announce Annual Scholarship

For the third consecutive year, Newtown Newcomers and Neighbors will offer a $500 recognition scholarship to a graduating Newtown High School senior, who is a newcomer to the NHS community.

In order to be eligible for the scholarship, the applicant must be graduating from NHS in June 2006; the applicant must have moved into Newtown and/or NHS during their junior or senior year; and the applicant must have made a positive impact on their school or community.

Applications are available in the Career Center at Newtown High School. Applications can also be downloaded online from NewtownNewcomers.com.

The deadline for applying is Monday, April 24.

Completed applications should be dropped off at the Career Center or emailed to newsletter@NewtownNewcomers.com.
