Retired Dresser Industries Engineer
Raymond Perachio, 97, of Monroe, a retired engineer for Dresser Industries, died June 15, in his home, with his family by his side. Mr Perachio was born February 17, 1914, in Bridgeport, the son of Carlo and Santina Varese Perachio.
Survivors include his beloved wife of 67 years, Mary Perrini Perachio; three sons, including Robert Perachio, and his wife Maureen, of Newtown; seven grandchildren; a great-granddaughter; and many nieces and nephews.
During his employment at Manning Maxwell & Moore, he proudly started and played on the company softball team. Mr Perachio was a master gardener who loved the arts and antiques, and dancing at the Ritz Ballroom.
Friends may call Friday, June 17, from 4 to 7 pm, in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull. Funeral services will take place Saturday, June 18, at 8 am in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, and at 9 am in St Stephen Church, 6948 Main Street, Trumbull, for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in St John Cemetery, Monroe.
