Michael and Carolyn Mandarano of Newtown announce the birth of a son, Connor Matthew, on March 27 at St Vincent’s Medical Center in Bridgeport. The infant weighed 6 pounds, 14 ounces and was 19½ inches long. He joins a brother, Garrett, 2, at home.

Al and Margaret Kovachik of Fairfield are the maternal grandparents.
