“What book would you recommend to people?” Asked of C.H. Booth Librarians.

Mary Antey: “A patron recommended The Thirteenth Tale. I really enjoyed it. I liked Glass Castle, too.”

Andrea Zimmerman: “The Lord of the Rings Trilogy. It’s a great series with all the elements: suspense, great characters, good literature. And it appeals to all ages.”

Marie Walker: “The Mitford Series by Jan Karon. It’s just good literature.”

Janet Woycik: “The Kite Runner and Water For Elephants. They were both enjoyable reads. They were unique stories, not every day Top Ten sellers themes.”

Mimi Morin: “My current favorite book is Snowflower and the Secret Fan. It’s about the geishas’ world, how they write messages on fans which they passed around.”

Alana Bennison: “Take Big Bites: Adventures Around the World and Across the Table by Linda Ellerbee. It gives new meaning to immersing yourself in travel, food, and entertaining.”
