Mildred B. Halas

Mildred (Bozik) Halas, 87, of Bear Mountain Road, Danbury, wife of the late John P. Halas, died on June 8 at Laurel Ridge Convalescent Center.

She was born in Danbury on September 15, 1915, daughter of the late Stephen and Frances Bozik.

Mrs Halas will be missed by her loving son and daughter-in-law, John and Tina Halas of Sandy Hook as well as several nieces and nephews.

She was a graduate of Danbury High School. She was a member of St Paul Lutheran Church in Danbury.

Funeral services were celebrated on May 12 at St Paul Lutheran Church, Spring Street, Danbury. Burial followed in Wooster Cemetery, Danbury.

The Cornell Memorial Home, 247 White Street, Danbury, was in charge of arrangements.
