Justin David Bach

and Athlete

 Justin D. Bach, 20, of Danbury/Newtown, died at Danbury Hospital, Tuesday, November 25, after a courageous battle with bone cancer. Justin was born in Danbury, September 15, 1988.

Justin is survived by his mother and stepfather, Cindy Proulx Bach Hedrick and Stephen L. Hedrick of Newtown; his father and stepmother, D. John Bach and Noreen O’Neil Bach, of Danbury; and two brothers, Matthew J. Bach and Adam S. Hedrick; along with many loving grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, and close friends.

 He was a graduate of Danbury High School and attended Western Connecticut State University.

Justin valued time spent with family and friends. He enjoyed golf, bowling, skiing, computer games, cards, and his cats, Half and Half and Misty. Justin remains an inspiration to all who have been blessed to have known him, teaching how to live life with courage and dignity even in the face of adversity. He was a true example of living each day to the fullest, seeking joy in the present moment. The family extends their sincere thanks to all the friends and medical professionals who cared for and prayed for Justin and his family over the 3½ years of his illness.

A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated November 29.

Justin asked that contributions in his memory be made to St Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St Jude Place, Memphis TN 38105.
