Preventive Care for Equines

WATERBURY – Dr Claudia Sandoval from Fairfield Equine Associates will give a presentation on deworming and immunizing horses on Friday, March 20 at Post University.

There are many factors to consider when formulating a good preventive care plan and current thinking on the topic is updated frequently. She will address the issue of deworming and parasite resistance which is becoming an increasingly widespread problem.

Proceeds from the Quiz the Experts Lecture series benefit equine scholarships and the Equine Program at Post. These lectures are now being held in the Traurig Library Board Room on Post University’s Waterbury campus. Tickets are available for $10 at the door, and admission is free to Post students.
