UConn Waterbury Planning An Open House
WATERBURY â The University of Connecticut Waterbury will sponsor a fall open house for prospective undergraduate students and their families Saturday, October 27, from 1 to 3 pm.
Students are invited to explore the various academic programs offered in Waterbury, learn about scholarship and financial aid opportunities, meet with faculty, staff and current students, and get an up-close tour of the Waterbury campus facilities. High school and transfer students are encouraged to attend.
UConn Waterbury offers small classes and an intimate campus environment, with an extensive range of undergraduate and graduate course offerings and study areas. Professors come from diverse academic backgrounds, are actively involved in scholarly research, and many serve as student advisors and mentors.
UConn Waterbury offers a variety of campus resources and support services, including its library, writing center, math center, peer tutoring assistance, computer labs, and counseling services.
The campus is located in a modern, state-of-the-art facility in the heart of downtown Waterbury. Campus neighbors include the historic and renovated Palace Theater and a new arts magnet middle and high school, making the universityâs location a beacon for educational and cultural enlightenment. The main entrance for the campus is at 99 East Main Street.
