NBLA To Hold Members Fun Day At Bethel Show Grounds On July 26
The Newtown Bridle Lands Association will hold a Members Fun Day at the Bethel Show Grounds on Route 6 in Bethel on Sunday, July 26 (rain date of August 16).
The event will provide an opportunity for riders to bring their horses to the show grounds, play games on horseback and practice and compete on an obstacle course, as well as a great opportunity to socialize with fellow horse enthusiasts.Â
Games will include a relay race, pole bending, champagne ride, keyhole race and egg & spoon. A command class is also planned. The obstacle course will be set up in one of the rings. Riders may practice the obstacle course during the morning and be judged in the afternoon.Â
Lunch will be served and the NBLA is asking everyone who attends to bring a potluck dish. NBLA will supply some of the food, soft drinks and water, paper goods and utensils.
