Elimination Of Nonpermanent School Records Reminder

In accordance with state regulations that address the retention and disposal of student records, Newtown High School will, by the end of this month, be eliminating materials in the records of 2003 graduates that are not part of the permanent records. Permanent records consist of academic transcripts, basic biographical information, and record of immunizations.

Students who wish to gain possession of materials scheduled to be eliminated, for future use, may obtain them in the school guidance office before June 14. Students should request records two days in advance by calling the guidance office at 203-426-7652 between the hours of 8 am and 2:30 pm.

Materials cannot be released to others without the written consent of the owner.
