Cherished Wife, Devoted And Loving Mother
Mary A. Calabrese Spinozza of Sandy Hook died August 5, at her home. She was born September 5, 1933, in Rye, N.Y., to Sarah (Ferruccio) and Joseph Calabrese.
She was a graduate of Rye High School, Class of 1951. She married Leonard F. Spinozza, January 21, 1956.
Until she retired, Mrs Spinozza worked as a dental receptionist.
Her husband of 55 years; two daughters, Sara Grimaldi of Newtown, and her husband James, and Ann Marie Baumel of Cornwall, N.Y., and husband Howard; two sons, Leonard Spinozza, Jr, of Kent, N.Y., and Mark Spinozza and his wife Christine of Lagrangeville, N.Y.; sisters Louise Carpentieri, Sarah Telesco, Lucille Chabot, and Catherine Unger; seven grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
A son, Michael; her parents; and sisters Ida Maniscalco, Susan Bochicchio, Joy Cotroneo, and Dorthy Calabrese predeceased her.
A Mass of Christian Burial took place August 9. Internment was in Rose Hills Memorial Park Cemetery, Putnam Valley, N.Y.
