Sarah T. Moreno

Sarah T. Moreno, “Sally,” 80, a longtime resident of Danbury and Bethel died May 11 at Danbury Hospital.

Sarah was born May 13, 1923, in Danbury, the daughter of the late Josephine and Thomas Critelli. She was a homemaker and a member of St Mary’s Church in Bethel.

Her first husband, Michael Losito, predeceased her in 1969.

She is survived by her husband, Jack Moreno of Bethel; nine children and their spouses, Daniel and Hannelore Moreno of Newtown, Michael and Norma Losito of Bethel, Thomas Losito of Tempe, Ariz., David and Joyce Losito of Watertown, Diana Moreno of Colchester, Vt., Anthony and Debbie Moreno of Oklahoma City, Okla., Jack and Debbie Moreno of Southbury, Annette Moreno of Brookfield, and Joan Moreno of South Burlington, Vt.; three sisters, Kathy Ayers of Rhode Island, Gloria Cippola of Brookfield, and Frances Gill of Naugatuck; nine grandchildren, one great-grandchild and several nieces and nephews.

Friends may call at the Green Funeral Home, 57 Main Street, Danbury, on Friday, May 14, from 4 to 8 pm.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, May 15, 10 am, St Mary’s Church, Bethel. Interment to follow in St Peters Cemetery.
