To the Editor:

The Search Committee for the director of the Cyrenius H. Booth Library wishes to thank the nearly 400 Newtown community members who completed our survey earlier this month. The time and thought survey takers devoted to this important exercise will play an invaluable role in identifying an inspirational and committed professional as our next leader.

Later this month, the Search Committee will continue the conversation with the community by sponsoring focus groups facilitated by members of the State of Connecticut's library development office. Please consider participating in one of these discussions, which will be held in late March and early April. To ensure that these discussions are both in-depth and interactive, space is limited.   Details are posted on the library's home page and will also be available at the library during the re-opening  on Saturday.  We look forward to seeing you there.
