The Breakers is the grandest of Newport's "cottages" and is the sumptuous mansion of Commodore Cornelius Vanderbilt. Attendees will enjoy an audio guide so they can walk through at their leisure listening to the story of the mansion. They will see magnificently decorated rooms, poinsettias, charming ornaments, tress and wreaths, and more. They will enjoy dining at The Pier Restaurant offering beautiful views as well as an option for every palate. The menu includes tossed salad, choice of baked stuffed breast of chicken or shrimp scampi over fettuccine or baked catch of the day, vegetable, potato, and dessert. Attendees should include their entrée choice with registration. The day will also include vising the Marble House, the magnificent mansion of William Vanderbilt and inspired by Versailles. Students will strengthen their core and sculpt their trunk, arms, and legs while learning the basics of Middle-Eastern belly dance. Basic choreography along with pop music and traditional Middle-Eastern music. Beautiful hip scarves provided will be provided to wear. Students are asked to wear workout clothes and bring 2 to 3 pound weights.Introduction To PowerPoint - A two-class course starting December 1, from 6:30 to 9 pm, $69.Cardio Calorie Blast - A 12-class course, offered on Tuesdays and Thursdays, starting November 29, 4:30 to 5:30 pm, $89. Join this class to get fit, have fun, and relieve stress. Students will increase energy with this uplifting and upbeat class that provides three workouts in one. This efficient and effective workout will include aerobics, toning exercises, and yoga stretching. Students will utilize the latest fitness principles to maximize calorie and fat burning, in addition to ways to increase the intensity of exercise. All levels of fitness are welcome. Low-impact, low-intensity exercises and modifications to exercises will be demonstrated. Wear comfortable clothing and sneakers. Bring bottled water, an exercise or yoga mat, and a pair of hand weights, 3 pounds for beginners and 5 pounds for advanced.Totally Toned - A six-class course starting on December 1, from 3:15 to 4:15 pm, $59. People who join this class will tone up and have fun. Each class will include a warm-up, toning exercises utilizing handheld weights or the body's own resistance, and stretching. This course will help tone up and increase metabolism by increasing muscle cells. Participants should wear comfortable clothing and sneakers and bring bottled water, an exercise or yoga mat, and a pair of hand weights to each class, 3 pounds for beginners and 5 pounds or more for advanced.
Having "The Conversation" With Your Elder Or Loved One - A single-session course on November 30, from 6:30 to 8:30 pm, $29. For those facing or who have family member facing aging and elder care challenges and/or dealing with remote caregiving and life planning issues, the course will help students find the guidance and resources necessary to address these sensitive matters, as well as how to handle the family dynamics. This course is based upon years of successful work related to managing complex aging and elder issues.

Where in the past people may have used hand-drawn charts or pictures, PowerPoint allows users to create dynamic presentations that can include text, bullet lists, tables, charts, graphics, transitions, and animations. This hands-on workshop will show students how to get the most out of PowerPoint using all of the features just mentioned.
