NPD’s Halloween

Police Union President Robert Koetsch expressed thanks this week to the several hundred trick-or-treaters who stopped by the police station for Halloween treats Sunday night.

Police distributed hundreds of miniature candy bars to the children. Items included Hershey bars, Crunch bars, Baby Ruth, Milky Way bars, Snickers and Almond Joy, he said.

The police union, which bought $80 worth of candy for Halloween, hopes that trick-or-treaters had a safe night and hopes to have the children return to the police station at 3 Main Street next Halloween, Officer Koetsch said.

Main Street is one of the most heavily traveled trick-or-treat locations in the area on Halloween.
