Stress Reduction Through Meditation

BRIDGEPORT — St Vincent’s Medical Center is offering a series of “Stress Reduction Through Meditation” classes for the community every Thursday from 7 to 8 pm beginning on March 9 in the Level 8 Education and Training Center of St Vincent’s.

Participants will learn to reduce stress, relax, and gain mental awareness through guided meditation, and simple mindfulness techniques.

According to instructor Fran Palumbo, “Meditation is the art of quieting the mind and being still. It is one of the most powerful gifts you can ever give yourself.”

The fee is $12 per class, and participants need not attend the entire series.
