Literacy Volunteers Needs ESL Tutors

DANBURY –– Literacy Volunteers of America-Danbury, Inc., will hold a tutor training session for those who would like to teach English as a second language to immigrants.

Trainer Ellen Parrella of Newtown will run a series of tutor training sessions scheduled for 7:30 to 9:30 pm Mondays and Thursdays on October 8, 11, 15, 18, 22, and 25.

Seating may be limited so volunteers are encouraged to register early. Attendance at all workshops is required. For more information call LVA-Danbury at 792-8260.
