Blue &_Gold Special Meeting

 

The Newtown Blue & Gold Booster Club will hold a special meeting immediately following the football game on Friday, September 14, to accept nominations for new officers.

The Newtown Nighthawks will be opening the 2001 season against Bethel, with kickoff slated for 7 pm. After the game, the Booster Club meeting will be held at the concession stand for the purpose of nominating a president, vice-president, secretary, treasurer, and membership chairman.

According to out-going president Mike Kelley, the present officers will remain in the background and will be able to assist in the transition. Anyone interesting in volunteering for these positions should call 426-9624 and leave a message.
