Auditions At Polka Dot

BRIDGEPORT — The Polka Dot Playhouse, at 177 State Street, will host open auditions for Equity and non-Equity actors for The Beauty Queen of Leenane, Martin McDonagh’s 1998 Tony Award-winning Irish drama.

Auditions will be conducted Wednesday, December 1, from 6 to 9 pm.

Sought are the following: Maureen Folan, age range 35-45; Mag Folan, (Maureen’s mother), age range 50-65; Pato Dooley, age 35-45; and Ray Dooley (Pato’s brother), age 20.

Minorities are strongly urged to audition. Actors should bring their photo and resume, and be prepared with a two-minute dramatic monologue. Steve Ryan is the director.
