Blood Pressure Screening

The Ashlar of Newtown Nursing Department will sponsor a free blood pressure screening on Wednesday, June 26, from 10 am to noon, at the Cyrenius H. Booth Library on Main Street.

The screening will be conducted by a registered nurse who will have free blood pressure information available.

Sharon Linet, RN, the acting director of nursing services at Ashlar, reminds residents that because persons can have high blood pressure and still feel fine, it is important to have blood pressure checked regularly.
